Wednesday English Task 2


Once you have written your similes, write a description of Achilles. 

Success Criteria: 
- Use prepositions to orientate the reader (In his hand, Above his head, on his helmet etc).
- include expanded noun phrases. 
- Include a simile.

    mine is: Achilles rode his horse into the mist. His helmet shone like the sun. His bright blue eyes glistened in the sun. Suddenly a lightning strike came down as if Zues was angry! From Charlie

    Achilles ran like thunder.He did not stop until he reached the enemy battleground.His dark blue eyes stared into the distance.He lifted up his steel spear.His bronze armour glistened in the distance.His heart was pounding like crazy.
