Friday History

In celebration of Black History Month, we learnt abour four incredible women who worked at NASA. When we were studying them, we learnt a little about the space race between the USA and USSR. I thought it would be nice to learn a bit more about it. This 15 minute lesson is written by the same man who does the Horrible History TV show.       It was a race between Russia and America
      Neil arm strong was the first man on the moon
      Buzz aldrin was the second man on the moon
      They took a rocket called Apollo 11

    ussr stands for union of soviet socialist republic and it ended in 1969 which is 2 years before britain decimalised their currency
