Noughts and Crosses - Lesson 2

Good morning Year 5, hope you are all doing well and keeping safe. 

for your English lesson today, could you listen to chapter 2 and 3 and then answer these questions: 


1.In chapter ‘three.Sephy’ we learn that she doesn’t seem to have the same opinion of her father as everybody else. Find and copy one quotation to support this.
2.Why do you think this is?
3.Sephy eavesdrops on her father’s conversation with a character we haven’t met before. How do you know this is a serious conversation?
4.How do you know that it is a conversation that Sephy wasn’t supposed to hear? Use a quotation in your response.
5.We know that Sephy’s father, Mr Hadley, is a politician. How do we know this?
6.What do you think the Pangaean Economic Community and the Liberation Militia are and why?
